Meet Leila
I approach therapy with creativity, collaboration, and flexibility, adapting our work to meet your needs. My style is affirming and grounded in empathy and deep listening, with a focus on understanding your lived experience.
Together, we’ll set goals while also honoring what feels most pressing for you right now. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where curiosity, courage, and compassion guide the work, helping you move through challenges and create meaningful change.
MyExperience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado (LPC.0021507) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LH61075178). I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School.
I completed my counseling internship at Seattle Pacific University Counseling Center, where I worked with college students navigating personal growth, identity exploration, grief and loss, anxiety, body image concerns, internalized oppression, sexuality, and trauma.
Since graduating, my work has focused on supporting adolescents and adults with eating disorders, as well as providing individual therapy and coaching for a range of mental health concerns. I have received training in several evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and RO-DBT, and I bring these modalities into therapy in a thoughtful, individualized way. I also have extensive experience supporting clients in building self-esteem and improving their relationship with their bodies.
In addition to individual therapy, I provide psychoeducation and support for families of loved ones struggling with mental health challenges. I am trained in both Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
